House Fire - Seaford Road South of Blades

Station 71 was alerted for a working house fire along with Station 87 Seaford,Station 81 Laurel and at Paramedic Unit 102 at 03:51. 71 Command responded with 2nd Assistant Chief Chad Passwaters, Command was advised that Medic 102 was on scene and reported smoke coming from the residence. Command arrived on scene and advised first incoming fire unit of the situation. All occupants were reported out of the house. Upon arrival the fire was quickly brought under control with all units working at 04:17. The occupants of the house were being taken care of by the EMS crew on A-71. The Delaware Chapter of the American Red Cross were requested to respond to assist the occupants of the house. Station 71 units responding were Command 71,Engine Tanker 71-2, Engine 71-9, Ambulance A-71,B-71 and Rescue 71. Station 87 with Chief Mark O'Bier 87-15, Assistant Chief Brad Taylor 87-18 responded with Engine Tanker 87-9, Ladder Tower 87 and Rescue 87. Station 81 with Deputy Chief 81-16 Jeff Hill responded withe Engine Tanker 81-5, Rescue 81, Engine 81-4. Delaware State Fire Marshall FM-16 and Sussex County Paramedic Unit 102.
