2010 EMS Awards Banquet - Seaford Banquet Hall

Sussex County EMS (SCEMS), the Sussex County Paramedic Association and the Sussex County Volunteer Ambulance Association held their annual EMS Banquet on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, Seaford, Delaware. Awards were presented for EMT-B (Central, Western and Eastern), EMS nurse, EMS physician, Emergency Communications Specialist, Field Training Officer, Paramedic Supervisor, Paramedic of the Year and Administrative Excellence. Sussex County Volunteer Ambulance Association presented the following Awards. EMT-B of the year was presented to Denise Dill from Station 73, Paramedic of the year went to John Schmitt, Cliff Lee award was presented to David Ruff, Station 71. Kirk Miller was presented the "Angel" award from Station 93- Georgetown EMS. SCEMS awards were presented in Recognition of Shift Excellence those went to: A Shift- Ray Fulkrod B Shift- Jay Shine C Shift- Kirk Miller D shift- Jeremy Goldman Distric Supervisor was Glenda Pusey FTO of the Year went to John Haynie Emergency Communication Specialist- Joey Pepper EMS Nurse of the Year was presented to Dmitar Sijan, Beebe Medical Center. EMS Physician of the Year was Dr. Phil Bailey from the Beebe Medical Center. Admisistrative Excellance Award went to Shellie Simmons EMT of the Year-West- Stacey Scheerer Station 87 EMT of the Year-Central-Tommy Berry Station 83 EMT of the Year-East-Jaques Grant Station 91 SCEMS Paramedic of the Year was presented to Andrew Vickers. A special presentation was given to Mr. Glen Luedtke, Paramedic Director-Retired
